My date with Uba and the kitty cats!

I made a new friend. He is handsome little black and white dog like me! We had a BLAST together! I also made some new kitty cat friends. I had never met a cat before! They were really nice to me and let me sniff their noses. My foster mom was wildly impressed because I was very gentle and not excited by the kitty cats. Maybe in my future home I will have some feline friends. Check out the pictures of me and Uba! Thanks Letti, Uba Lulu, and Angus for letting me come hang out at your house and play! I had some much fun!

My foster friends

In my foster home, I learn so much about life from my canine siblings.  I have a real attachment to each and every one of them.  They welcome me and make me feel like part of the family.
Toby is an older fella, really good looking for his age.  Don't tell anyone, but we flirt a lot.  ;)  Sometimes my mom has to separate us so that Toby isn't sore later in the day.
Sydney is a big beautiful brindle gal that teaches me soooo much.  She is as affectionate as me.  Whenever she snuggle with my foster parents, I always come a snuggle also.  Sometimes we take naps together and othertimes we play and play and play.  I love my big sister.
And then there is Sugar.  She is close to my age and BOY do we have fun!  We do zoomies and run run run!  We have a blast together.  But, we also know how to settle down.  It is SO much fun.

My mom told me that I am "dog social" which is a convenient quality to have in a pet.  I love my life!

Goin' to Pit Bull Education Classes

Every week I go to my obedience classes where I learn things like "sit", "down", and "stay". I always meet so many nice people and dogs, and my tail doesn't stop wagging the ENTIRE time I am there. My foster mom calls me a wiggle butt! I don't really know what that means...All I know is that I am always so happy that first my tail wags, and then my whole body wags! I just cannot control it! She told me its a good thing though; that it will always make the people around me smile.
Here are some photos of my first days at pit bull education class. My foster mom tells me I am a natural. That I am pretty and smart. I don't even know what that means, but I know that it means that more people like me and I get them to smile. How cool is that? Here are some photos of me in class, enjoying every minute. And the first picture is of me with Pit Bull Professor Tim Racer, my instructor. I cannot wait for class again next week! Gotta go and work on my homework... see you soon!

How I got my name

So, as you know, my name is Beanie Too. I am named after a lovely dog who was a heart throb amongst BadRap volunteers some years ago. Her name is Queen Beanie, and she went off to live with a nice family with a little boy. I hope to get so lucky! As you can see from the photo, we look a lot alike, almost like twins! We have similiar low-key, friendly personalities too, so I hear anyway.
My name is Beanie Too. I am honored to be named after someone who left such an impression on my rescuers.
I promise to write soon! Tail wags and one of a kind pit bull kisses to you!

Hello all! My name is Beanie!

Hi blogger world! Nice to meet you! My foster mom told me that I have a little homework to do. She told me that I need to write on the computer and tell the world a little bit 'bout myself. I came from Redding, near Mount Shasta, where a very nice lady noticed me at the shelter. Her name is Cindy Luzietti, and boy did she do me a big favor. She drove me 4 hours to my new home! I think I got really lucky. So I hear anyway......
I caught a really nasty cold right before I got here. (The doc called in kennel cough) But, not to worry. I have been catching up on TLC and resting lots, and lots, and lots. As you can see in my photo, I really enjoy laying in the sun. I've been here two weeks, and now I am finally feeling better! I told my mom I was feeling better by running around and playing tug in the yard. I am still a little stuffy, but sheesh!...Nothing like before. I couldn't get that frog outa my throat and those oogie boogies outa my nose! Thank goodness I am feeling better now. I also owe Dr. Morris of San Francisco Pet Hospital, for helping me feel better. He is so nice and did me such a huge favor! What a great Doc! Without him I still might be feeling a little sick.
Well, my foster mom told me that its bed time now. I promise to write soon, now that I feeling better and all.
Goodnight world.... zzz... zzz.....
